We provide floor work and custodial services for office buildings, religious facilities, medical facilities, industrial sites, retail and shopping malls, water restoration services and other specialty services.
Job Summary:
Knight Janitorial Services is seeking a Floor Technician who can provide and maintain a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained in a manner that supports Knight Janitorial’s vision and mission.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Perform proper techniques of floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, buffed, stripped or waxed as well as carpet cleaning
- Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/ burnishes water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility
- Perform other duties as assigned by your direct manager
Required Qualifications:
- Desire to work as a team player and the ability to work independently
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Must be self- motivated
- Must be detail orientated and organized
- Display a high level of character and integrity
- Flexible schedule- must be available to work on daytime, evenings, and weekends.
- Reliable transportation- must able to carry equipment with you
Preferred Qualifications:
- Floor work experience
- Customer service experience
- Must be willing to accept constructive criticism
Compensation: $10.00-$13.00/hour
