Scrub and Recoat
Preventative Floor Maintenance
As a business owner or building manager, it’s your job to spend time improving your services and taking care of customers—just like us! Except in our case, keeping your property safe, clean, and beautiful is our business and you’re the customer we aim to please. Our team offers regular, prescheduled floor maintenance services so that you never have to remember when your workspace needs cleaning and special maintenance services, like recoating or a floor shine. When you contact us, it’s the last time you’ll have to focus on maintenance and the beginning of hassle-free commercial property care.

Flooring Scrubbing and Recoating
First, it’s important to understand why scrubbing and recoating your floor on a regular basis is a good idea compared to stripping it completely. Stripping is the complete removal of the flooring finish using a harsh stripping solution and an aggressive stripping pad. Scrubbing and recoating simply removes one coat of a dirty or worn finish without chemicals and reapplies a new topcoat.
Scrubbing, therefore, is much faster, cheaper, and requires a smaller team. In addition, scrubbing is more environmentally friendly and eliminates the need for harsh stripping chemicals. Many of our clients use regular scrubbing services to avoid stripping and waxing their floors completely. To do this, our team will scrub the floor with a floor pad and reapply floor wax to bring out a shine on the surface. It’s a great preventative step in floor maintenance that saves you time and money with a less disruptive procedure.

How Often Should You Scrub and Recoat Your Floors?
Because scrubbing and recoating the floors of your office or warehouse are a preventative measure that helps you avoid the cost of stripping or waxing the floor, it’s worth the investment to stay up-to-date with regular care.
We can incorporate a floor scrub and recoat on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. To determine exactly how often and on what kind of rotating schedule your floors need extra attention, contact us for an estimate. The frequency of this service depends primarily on the amount of floor and foot traffic and desired appearance of the floor. During our evaluation, we’ll talk to you about the nature of your business, how much wear and tear your flooring gets in different parts of the workspace, and how lustrous the flooring must be to meet customer expectations if you regularly have guests and visitors.
